NOLLYWOOD ACTRESS JENNIFER ELIOGU VISITS FLOOD VICTIMS CAMP AT ONITSHA, ANAMBRA STATE






In pursuit of service to humanity delectable Nollywood actress Jennifer Eliogu, Founder/CEO, IDEAS (Initiative for Development, Empowerment and Absolute Stability) a non-Governmental Organisation and her team stormed the 2 camps where the persons displaced by the recent floods that ravaged parts of Anambra State are being camped at Onitsha to distribute relief materials.

Service to humanity they say is the best work of life.
























The screen diva said ''i feel the pain of these internally displaced persons and my NGO is committed to doing the much it can to help ease their suffering''. As we know, charity begins at home, so she decided to start with her home state of Anambra.


She encouraged the IDP's to stay prayerful and advised the youth among them to shun social vices. Their joy knew no bound as they sang and danced with the star actress giving credence to the biblical injunction that say's "In all things, give thanks"




Actress Jennifer Eliogu premiered her debut film titled “From Within” sometime last year in Lagos, Abuja, Asaba, South Africa, United Kingdom and the United States. 

The family oriented movie was directed by Afam Okeke and starred notable Nollywood stars such as Kenneth Okonkwo, Ebele Okaro-Onyiuke and Thelma Okoduwa.  It also had emerging talents such as Dorothy Njemanze, Bibiana Francis, Paul Sambo, Habibat Lasisi and several others.

In a chat, the actress disclosed that the need to give back to the society, through such family oriented projects inspired the film. “I have always wanted to produce a family oriented movie that the whole family will sit down and watch''.
